Count Luthor von Drakenborg

Hiring cost 300,000 gp. Plays for: Sylvanian Spotlight.

Special rule: Star of the Show

Once per game, when he scores, his team gains a Team Re-roll that is lost if unused by the end of the next Drive.

On the pitch

The Count is a ST 5 player with AG 2+, a combination the rosters do not sell. Block, Sidestep and AV 10+ with Regeneration mean he is rarely off the pitch for long. He has no Bloodlust, so unlike the Vampires beside him he never has to bite anyone. Star of the Show hands your team a bonus re-roll the once he scores, usable until the end of the following drive.

At 300k he is among the most expensive single hires, so he appears only when the team value gap is wide. Vampires get a ball carrier who ignores their one weakness. Shambling Undead and Tomb Kings already have ST 5 in Mummies and Tomb Guardians, so for them he is the mobile version with hands; Necromantic Horror use him as the strong piece their Flesh Golems only approximate. Loner (4+) and the price are the whole downside.
