Chaos Dwarf team roster
The Chaos Dwarf roster has 6 positions. The cheapest player is the Hobgoblin Lineman at 40,000 gp, the quickest is the Hobgoblin Lineman with MA 6, and the strongest is the Minotaur with ST 5. Team re-rolls cost 70,000 gp each.
Make Chaos Dwarf cardsHow the team plays
Chaos Dwarfs are a bash roster with a dash half bolted on. The Chaos Dwarf Blocker is the wall: MA 4, AV 10+, Block, Iron Hard Skin and Thick Skull for 70k, and Iron Hard Skin stops Mighty Blow and Claws working against him. Bull Centaurs are the blitzers and carriers, ST 4, MA 6 and AV 10+ with Sprint and Sure Feet, though Unsteady stops them making Secure the Ball actions and AG 4+ keeps their pick-ups risky. Hobgoblin Linemen are 40k, skill-less and AV 8+.
The Flamesmith's Breathe Fire can put a marked opponent on the ground without a block, and Sneaky Stabbas carry Stab and Shadowing for fouling and armour-picking. Bull Centaurs score, since they outrun the rest of the team, and Hobgoblins take the casualties. Agility is the weakness: only Hobgoblins and Stabbas have AG 3+, and a dropped ball on a Bull Centaur ends drives. The team plays in the Badlands Brawl or Chaos Clash and is Favoured of Hashut.

Building a starting roster
Four Chaos Dwarf Blockers (280k) and two Bull Centaurs (260k) are the first six purchases, then five Hobgoblin Linemen (200k) make eleven for 740k. Re-rolls cost 70k, among the dearest in the game, so two are 140k and bring the total to 880k. The remaining 120k is where coaches disagree: an apothecary and a Sneaky Stabba (990k), or a Flamesmith (960k) with change. A Minotaur does not fit beside two Bull Centaurs and is left for later, if he is taken at all.
Advice for newer coaches
Give the ball to a Bull Centaur only after a Hobgoblin has picked it up and handed it over; AG 4+ pick-ups fail too often, and Unsteady means he cannot Secure the Ball either. Move the Blockers as a chain so each one lends an assist to the next block. Use the Flamesmith's Breathe Fire on a marked carrier when a block would need more dice than you have. Avoid dodging with a Chaos Dwarf Blocker: AG 4+ with no Dodge is how turnovers happen on this team.
