Amazons are a dash team with a bash team's bones. Every player on the roster starts with Dodge, from the 50k Eagle Warrior up, so the whole side is hard to knock over with plain blocks and slips out of tackle zones more often than most. ST 3 and AG 3+ across the board keep them human in scale.
The Python Warrior is the thrower, with Pass, Safe Pass and On the Ball. Most scoring runs through the Piranha Warriors, MA 7 with Hit and Run and Jump Up, who blitz and then step out of contact in the same action. Jaguar Warriors bring ST 4, AV 9+ and Defensive, so they anchor the cage and stop opposing Guard from counting. The weakness is AV 8+ on everyone except the Jaguars: once a Tackle player lands blocks, Eagle Warriors reach the casualty box in numbers, and there is no Big Guy to draw attention away. They play in the Lustrian Superleague.

Building a starting roster
A common 1,000,000 gp Amazon list takes both Jaguar Warriors (220k) and both Piranha Warriors (180k), one Python Warrior (80k) and six Eagle Warriors (300k), 780k for eleven players. Re-rolls cost 60k, so three bring the total to 960k with 40k spare. Coaches who want the second Python Warrior drop to two re-rolls: 860k of players plus 120k of re-rolls, 980k. The apothecary is the usual thing left for later, since the team's Dodge keeps early casualties down until the opposing coaches start taking Tackle.
Advice for newer coaches
Blitz the ball carrier with a Piranha Warrior and use Hit and Run to step clear afterwards, so the retaliation block never comes. Keep a Jaguar Warrior beside your own carrier: Defensive switches off the opponent's Guard and ST 4 makes the cage corner hard to open. Spread the Eagle Warriors out so a single Tackle player cannot reach two of them in one turn. Avoid treating Dodge as armour against Dwarfs and other Tackle rosters; the Stumble result goes through and AV 8+ breaks often.
